About the Boosters
The Booster organization helps support the music department in many ways. Our goal is to help provide these young musicians with the tools they need to thrive in the music program. We primarily fundraise, promote, organize, and spend a bit of our time making this a success. Our board members are primarily parents whose children are in the program. This is a great opportunity to be a part of your loved one’s path in the music program. These students do some incredible things with music, and they need our support at times to do their best. This is where the Boosters help organize their needs, with your support. The school provides a small budget to the music department and to increase our budget, we put on Concerts, Dinners, Car Washes, Bake Sales; you can even rent the Band. This additional funding helps pay for repairs, instruments, uniforms, transportation to events, even to purchase music. Recently we were able to raise funds to attend Disney Imagination Campus where the entire music department played and recorded Disney music in their studios, providing a fantastic learning & recording session. We have been very fortunate to have local businesses also helping our cause by donating directly to us. Below are some examples of promotions we ran. Another big support comes from family members, parents and friends who help with food and drinks for the band at concerts or transportation of the equipment to these events or even recording video or taking pictures, which we use on our website. There are all kinds of support we deeply appreciate and need. If you have any ability to offer any support, please reach out to us. Our musicians would be so grateful.
